Role summary and responsibilities

We have opportunities for highly motivated and driven CSOs with 3-5 years working experience. The successful candidates will join the Fund team providing fund administration services to clients, which include, but not limited to, Open End Funds, Closed End Fund, Investment Manager and Investment Advisers.

Key responsibilities of Senior CSOs / CSOs (not limited to):

  • To work on incorporation of companies (GBCs & domestic);
  • Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner including monitoring of tasks;
  • Maintain bank accounts, including bank account opening, initiate transfers and liaising with the bank;
  • Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner including monitoring tasks;
  • Attend to all required statutory filings with FSC, ROC and other statutory bodies;
  • Convene meetings of directors/shareholders, attend board meetings and prepare minutes;
  • To assist accountants with their queries and to liaise with them to ensure timely filing of financial statements;
  • To liaise with accountants on change in auditors, change in financial year end and accounting
  • Effect customer due diligence (CDD) as per AML Code and maintain an updated list of CDD for all companies;
  • Prepare and file Annual returns, APS returns, PAYE return, TDS returns, VAT returns, within statutory due dates; and
  • Coordinate work of team members.

Skills/ Experience required:

 3-5 years of working experience;

  • Degree holder in Finance, law and management or holds or has substantially completed ICSA qualification or equivalent;
  • Experience of administering of Fund structures;
  • Well organised and a track record of working to tight deadlines;
  • Passionate about financial markets and reporting;
  • Attention to details with a strong control mindset;
  • Complements formal training with self-learning;
  • Has a proactive mindset and can work autonomously with minimal supervision;
  • A natural problem solver and pragmatic approach in dealing with technical or operational issues; and
  • Sound interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels and various stakeholders.
